Focusing on Support and Development
Brazoria County Head Start wanted to convey the message of partnership and support for families in their community. The website needed to communicate this quickly and effectively.
The home page is welcoming and presents a message of inclusion, collaboration, and assistance. We thoughtfully selected photos that represent the community Brazoria serves. Ranging from pregnant moms to loving dads the images show that the Head Start is there for the community to help with childhood learning from the beginning.
We made clear call-outs to encourage enrollment in the programs by using simple buttons. Short headlines were also used to not overcomplicate the clear directive of the website for clear communication.
A photo of a thriving family was used to emphasize the nurturing message Brazoria County Head Start wanted to communicate.
Since most of the families served, use a mobile phone to access web information, the website needed to be mobile-friendly.
