Website Redesign for Small Business Showcases Competitive Advantage
Chippewa Valley Sporting Goods (CVSports) specializes in personalized service, quality brand name products, and competitive prices that rival “the big guys”. They needed a new website up quickly to meet the requirements of a new vendor relationship. We launched the site less than two weeks after our first intake meeting.
CVSports new website features a bold design for a younger customer demographic. The website also incorporates the retailer’s red and black brand and contemporary sports-related imagery. The website is set up in WordPress which gives the retailer the ability to make updates easily in-house.
Retail-oriented design with clear call to actions
Driving traffic to an online catalogue to order customized sports apparel is a key objective of the website. Prominent buttons make it easy for site visitors to access the catalogue. Logos of popular sporting good brands CVSports sells are featured on the home page to reinforce the company’s quality brand.
Important contact info is easy to find
A major improvement from the old website was the contact page. It was redesigned to help users quickly identify and contact the appropriate person for the specific service they need. We also added the main number to the website header to emphasize that they are readily available.
