Publicity for Smart Fabric Sensor Company
The CEO of BeBop Sensors wanted to increase awareness about his company to the business world. We contacted the San Francisco Business Times and told them that BeBop Sensors makes a fabric sensor that makes everyday items smarter. The fabric sensor is unlike anything else on the market because it can understand force, location, size, weight, shape, and presence. The fabric is washable, bendable, and doesn’t have wires sticking out of it. BeBop Sensors is working with Original Equipment Manufacturers in the automotive, healthcare, athletic, and other industry sectors.
The Business Times sent a reporter to interview BeBop’s CEO Keith McMillen and to tour the company. The reporter also interviewed a manager from DuPont Microcircuit Materials, which prints the conductive inks on the fabric. The story headlined, “Finding clever uses for BeBop’s smart fabric” ran in the paper’s Small Business section.
