Kosrae Island Video Competition – Facebook
Facebook was the primary medium for the “Picture Yourself on Kosrae” video contest we created and managed for our client the Kosrae Visitors Bureau. Participants submitted a video to explain why they wanted to visit Kosrae. The winning video received 1,101 votes. As a result of the contest the “Likes” for Kosrae’s Facebook page increased by 43 percent in little more than a month. In addition, contest posts were viewed 8,076 times, with viral impressions totaling 3,835.
